Cat. #0021852: JOBYNA RALSTON

Rare inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch off-white card, acquired in-person in the 1960s by inveterate collector John Virzi and decorated with a small magazine image. In good condition. Curly-locked, cherubic WAMPAS Baby Star and silent comedienne Jobyna Ralston was a favorite co-star of Harold Lloyd. Her acting career came to a screeching halt with the advent of talkies, when the public discovered her horrendous lisp. She died in obscurity at the age of 67 and her autograph is extremely uncommon in any format.
